Lynn Panting

Actor/Choreographer

Lynn Panting is a multidisciplinary performer, arts educator, and choreographer. Past performance credits include Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Chicago, Alice in Wonderland, Rocky Horror (TADA), Boeing Boeing (Joint Productions), Shakespeare’s Fairy Tales (Sweetline Theatre Company), Eli and the Death Curse (RCA), Caesar, The Tempest, Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare by the Sea). Panting is deeply committed to the growth of creativity and self-confidence through movement and likes to collaborate with individuals from diverging backgrounds and experiences. In 2013, she was short-listed for ArtsNL's Arts Educator of the Year Award. Panting holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Memorial University as well as a Master of Humanities concentrating on performance, dance and the body.
Austin Card is a second year Acting student studying at the Sir Wilfred Grenfell School of Fine Arts. This is his first season with Isle Aux Mort.
Monica Walsh is an actor, writer and singer. She has appeared in over 20 films, 15 theatre productions, and teaches theatre regularly. Monica is founder and artistic director of Kanutu Theatre. She holds a BA in English Drama from Memorial University, as well as a diploma in Performance and Communications Media. In 2015, Monica founded “Scene, and  Blurred” an open mic for writers, actors and performance artists. 
Kristen LeFrense is planning on studying Linguistics in St. John's at Memorial University starting in the fall. This will be her second year of university. In the past, she acted in two plays  in junior high, playing the main role of Mary Girard in The Insanity of Mary Girard. Kristen also acted in the original workshop production of Song of The Mermaid. She was introduced to acting/drama by her 7th-grade teacher Ms. Alison Marche.
Nora Barker first fell in love with theatre at the age of 7 when she played Mrs Claus in her grade two Christmas concert. Since then she has seized any opportunity to be on stage - through music, dance, and acting - in her hometown of Grand Falls - Windsor and upon moving to St. John's in 2011. Nora recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in English and Anthropology, and the Diploma in Performance and Communications Media where she had the opportunity to meet and work with some of Newfoundland's finest up and coming young artists.  Nora is thrilled  to work with such an exemplary cast & crew in her first professional setting, and excited to get to know the beautiful West Coast town of Isle Aux Morts
